Manhunt For MMA Fighter "War Machine"

LAS VEGAS - Police this morning continue their manhunt for a mixed martial artist competitor they say beat his girlfriend so severely that it put her in the hospital.

Jonathan Koppenhaver, also known as "War Machine," is accused of beating Christy Mack at a home in Las Vegas.

Dashanka Giraldo, Mack's neighbor, said, "She came running to our door."

It was a bloody call for help at two in the morning

Giraldo said, "She was knocking like crazy you could hear the banging."

Christy Mack-kicked, beaten & bloodied. Her hair sawed off with a dull knife she says Koppenhaver used in an attack that was both violent and too graphically sexual to explain on television. When she arrived at her neighbor's door...she was naked.

Dashanka Giraldo's family put clothes on Mack and called police.

Police responded-but enough time had passed-Koppenhaver had made his escape in to the night.

Koppenhaver with a history of violence dating back years, including violence against a woman in a separate strangulation case.

This is reason why those who live in this neighborhood, haunted by the photos of the battered woman want Koppenhaver caught.

If you have any information where he is call police immediately.
