Manager Beaten in Fight Over Dogs at Storage Unit

CORPUS CHRISTI - A fight over dogs kept in a storage facility in Flour Bluff led a very upset man to get into a fight with the manager and beat on the door with a pistol.

Police rushed to Available Storage on S. Padre Island Drive once the calls came in about a shooting at the business. But when they got there all they found was a smashed up front window, the injured manager, and a witness.

According to the witness, the suspect came by to continue an argument about dogs being kept in a unit. The witness claims the suspect beat on the manager before he stepped into break up the fight.

The witness tells us they were extremely scared once the guy ran to his car and came back with a gun. He never fired a shot, choosing instead to break the glass door with the gun before taking off in his car.

Police have not named or tracked down the Asian man who left in a Toyota.
