CORPUS CHRISTI - Answering a Craigslist ad for escort services resulted in a man being robbed at gunpoint with the assistance of two pit bulls Sunday afternoon at a Corpus Christi Beach hotel.
Police say the 37-year-old victim claims he showed up at the listed Regency Inn room, but came face to face with an armed 26-year-old Randal Moore and 24-year-old Rachel Fulton, who had the two dogs inside the room.
The man handed over his cash then ran to a nearby restaurant for help. Moore and Fulton reportedly ran toward another restaurant after the robbery, but were caught by police. They're both charged with aggravated robbery.
Police were able to get the guy a refund following the suspects' capture. The two pit bulls were seized by Animal Control.
