CORPUS CHRISTI - Police arrested a local 23-year-old man after they say he used tree pruning shears to try and carjack people on North Beach. We're told he used them to poke a waitress at Blackbeards and then to break car windows.
When police got to the scene, he took off running. Cops later caught the man but was forced to taser him once he started fighting back. Luckily no one was hurt. The man will be charged with attempted aggravated robbery, evading police on foot and criminal mischief for the car windows he broke.
