CORPUS CHRISTI - Police swarmed the neighborhood at Linden and Sherwood today around 12:30 after reports that a man threatened his grandpa.
Police said the man had a whole room full of swords, knives and ninja gear and used one of the weapons to threaten his grandpa.
Police said they charged the man with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a controlled substance.
They also took the sword and other weapons for safe keeping.
A criminal complaint against James Wilmot, released on Monday, says he threatened his grandfather with a sheetrock blade as he was cutting down a tree stump with a chainsaw.
