Man Survives Trailer Home Fire

CORPUS CHRISTI- Firefighters made quick work Saturday of a mobile home fire.
The fire broke out around noon in a mobile home park in the six-thousand block of Old Brownsville Road.
A man sleeping inside was able to get out, but re-entered the burning trailer to get his wallet.
He was slightly burned on his neck and face, but was treated at the scene.
The fire was knocked down in about 10 minutes, but that's all it took to destroy the small trailer.
Investigators believe the fire started on the sofa and careless smoking is to blame.
