Man Stabbed in Front of Evans Elementary School

CORPUS CHRISTI - Police are searching for a man who is accused of stabbing another man in front of Evans Elementary School early this morning.

According to police, a woman was walking to work when she realized she was being followed by a man.

She said he threatened her with a knife and that she ran from him. Before she got away, she heard screaming coming from behind her.

When she turned around, she saw another man had been stabbed, and that the man following her was running away.

Police said that the woman admitted she knew the suspect, but didn't explain how.

The man who was stabbed was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Police could not comment on the extent of his injuries.

The suspect is described as a 40-year-old Black man who is bald and was last seen wearing a white shirt and red shorts.
