Man Shows Up at Alice Hospital With Gunshot Wounds

Shooting Victim Drives Self to Alice Hospital

ALICE - Jim Wells County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting that happened early Thursday afternoon at a Whataburger off of Highway 44.

A 33-year-old man drove himself to the hospital, in Alice, with a gunshot wound to the neck and arm. His truck had the passenger side window shot out.

Christus Spohn Alice security immediately put the hospital on lockdown, as a precaution.

Investigators say 24-year-old Marscelo Davila, a relative of the victim, will be charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
