Man Hits Guardrail While Driving, Spins Van Around

CORPUS CHRISTI -- A man struck a guardrail while driving and sent his van on a wild ride.

The man driving was looking for something in his car. He took his eyes off of the road just long enough to veer off.

He drove into the guardrail, and the van spun around.

Along with the driver, the front passenger and four children in the backseat of the van were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Two of the children did have minor injuries.

Police confirmed that the driver was not texting, and he was not intoxicated.

Everyone in the car was wearing their seatbelts.
