CORPUS CHRISTI - The man found dead in the Nueces River, at Labonte Park Thursday, is still unidentified.
Police say the man appears to be in his 30's. He had no identification on him and no identifying marks, such as scars or tattoos.
Investigators said they checked missing person's reports in an effort to identify him, but so far, have not made a match.
The body was taken to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy, but police say there were no visible wounds or marks on the body that were suspicious.
