Man Found Dead at Labonte Park Identified

CORPUS CHRISTI - While the Nueces County Medical Examiner's office has identified 58-year-old Bobby Glenn Cooper as the man found dead in the Nueces River at Labonte Park last week, a cause of death is not available.

Results from toxicology tests will need to come back before a final determination is made.

Police were called to the park by a fisherman who noticed the body near the boat ramp. The next day police pulled Cooper's Nissan truck from the river nearby.
