CORPUS CHRISTI -- A fire caused some damage to a home on Stillman Avenue just before 11 p.m. When fire crews arrived at the northside residence they could see smoke coming through the front door.
Firefighters found two pieces of furniture in flames. Crews quickly extinguished the fire before it spread to other parts of the home.
The sole occupant was not injured in the fire. There's no word on what sparked the fire.
