Man Arrested For Murder in Port Aransas

PORT ARANSAS - Police have charged a man with murder after a stabbing that occurred in Port Aransas around 10:30 last night. 37-year-old Neil Eyman was arrested and placed in Nueces County Jail with an unknown bond.

Police say the stabbing happened at a business on the 900 block of State Highway 361. While the identity of the victim is unknown, officials say the 31-year-old male had been stabbed at least once in the neck. He was transported to Care Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A short while later, police located and arrested Neil Eyman. Neither the victim nor the suspect are from Port Aransas and police say the investigation is ongoing.
