Man And Woman Held Captive In Home On Ruth Street

CORPUS CHRISTI - A Corpus Christi man says he and his wife were held against their will Thursday morning by a couple of men they know.

He told police his wife were held at a home on Ruth Street, and the suspects loaded him into a white Jeep Cherokee and tried to get money from him.

He says the men beat him, but he was able to get away from them and contact police.

Officers were sent to the house on Ruth Street, where they found his wife waiting.

She was scared to leave, fearing something might happen to her husband.

She's okay, but her husband has a possible broken jaw.

Police arrested two men at the home for Aggravated Assault, Robbery, and Unlawful Restraint.
