CORPUS CHRISTI - The man accused of stabbing his girlfriend in the face appeared before a judge this afternoon.
Daniel Ramirez, 33, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. His bond was set at $100,000. A judge told Ramirez if he makes bond, he must remain in Nueces County and can not have any contact with the victim.
Police say Ramirez stabbed his girlfriend in the face at their home on Sonora yesterday morning. She remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
