Local Television & Internet Sales Executive

CORPUS CHRISTI - The ideal candidate must possess new business and developmental skills in driving revenue while achieving monthly revenue goals calling on local business owners through the use of Television and Interactive advertising.
Specific Responsibilities: The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for prospecting, presenting, closing and maintaining a growing list of local clients. To achieve this, the AE will:
- Consistently prospect for new advertising clients
- Establish and maintain excellent mutually beneficial working relationships with local advertisers
- Package, present and close Cordillera spot and interactive programs to clients on an ongoing basis
- Be knowledgeable about all aspects of marketing through the use of station information
- Ensure timely, accurate sales order entry, work on campaign production and to provide daily accurate information on the power of Television and Interactive advertising
- Report daily to a sales manager on all market intelligence, as well as account and pipeline reports
Solid references and a strong history of sales performance is critical and must be demonstrated on the resume.
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Applicant must be proficient with word, excel, power point and computer technology. Ability to relate well with advertisers and fellow employees is a must. College degree preferred. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
