Local Shop Stocking up on Pope Items

CORPUS CHRISTI - Religious stores all over the country are stocking up on pope frances items, and a shop manager here in Corpus Christi is scrambling to find papal merchandise.
"I need some stuff...especially with, especially with the new Pope Francis," Denise Smith, Manager of The Love Note Gift Shop.
Denise Smith is the manager of the love note gift shop and is on the phone with her sources in italy.
"I have received several letters and then phone calls from some of my sales reps letting me know they have people on the scene and as soon as the first pictures are taken they are ready to roll," Denise Smith, Manager of The Love Note Gift Shop says.
Those pictures are going to wind up on shirts, medalions, keychains, and anything with the new pope on it to sell here in Corpus Christi.
"Do you have things on your website that I can order?," Denise Smith, Manager of The Love Note Gift Shop.
With everything they have in their store, the biggest request are prayer cards. Because just like the pope instructed yesterday...he is looking for everyone to join him in prayer as he begins his new journey.
As for now, they have three statues left of St. Francis holding birds.
For the rest of the gifts, like shirts and keychains, Smith is working hard to get them.
"As soon as i get as soon at hits my back door it will be out on the floor...and i will have... Hopefully I have enough," Denise Smith, Manager of The Love Note Gift Shop says.
Denise says it'll take about 2 weeks to get the rosaries, shirts, keychains, and other goodies made in Italy shipped over here.
She called about the prayer cards today and expects to have those in by next week.
