Local Residents Help Get Dogfather Back On His Feet

CORPUS CHRISTI - If you frequent the downtown area then you probably know the Dogfather. Also known as Ray, the Dogfather sells the most amazing hot dogs from his cart outside the House of Rock.

But back in October, Ray was on his way home from selling hot dogs when he was rear-ended by another driver. The crash destroyed his cart and ruined his livelihood.

So tonight, the House of Rock threw a benefit to help raise money to get the Dogfather back to work.

The even started at 9pm and goes on until after midnight. The tickets to get in are only $5 and Ray is also selling official Dogfather t-shirts to try and raise the money he needs to get his new cart up and running.
