Local Man Indicted for His Fiancee's Murder

SINTON - A San Patricio County Grand Jury has indicted a local man accused of brutally murdering his fiancee.

Remus Litoui was indicted for murder. He was arrested last October after police say he stabbed Maria Annita DeLeon, 35. Her body was found outside her Ingleside apartment. Detectives say she was stabbed several times during a fight with Litoiu.

He remains in custody at the San Patricio County Jail on a $750,000 bond.

A hearing will be held next month to determine when he'll go to trial.
