CORPUS CHRISTI - Today a local attorney, Kim Frost, sent her husband to cleanup the mess taggers left on the Corpus Christi Ballet building. The building was damaged Tuesday and board members have been trying to find out how to fund the cleanup.
Yesterday C.C. Ballet found out from police that they would only be able to clean up the back, where taggers spray painted in lower regions.
But the majority of the damage was done on the top by the roof. Britt Murray, one of the board members, called someone to quote a cleanup. They quoted him $4800 for cleanup and $5500 for painting.
Since the ballet only has two shows a year, they didn't have the thousands of dollars needed for the cleanup.
Frost saw the story on the news last night and asked her husband to go clean up the mess for free. Mr. Frost owns AGS Restoration and Construction.
Murray calls the unexpected, free, clean up "a blessing."
