CORPUS CHRISTI- For the third day in a row we had a record high in Corpus Christi. Today it was 97. More heat and little to no rainfall is expected over the next 7 days. Here is the detailed forecast.
The same upper level high pressure system that is keeping us mainly hot and dry is also preventing tropical activity including tropical depression #2 from affecting us here in the coastal bend. This persistent weather pattern will continue the rest of this week.
Tonight expect mainly clear skies breezy and very warm with a low of 78.
Wednesday and Thursday will be breezy humid and blistering hot under mostly sunny to sunny skies and record high of 97 Wednesday and also thursday. The heat index will top at between 104 and 110 each afternoon.
T.D. # 2 is no threat and will probably end up near Vera Cruz as a minimal tropical storm or depression on Thursday.
