CORPUS CHRISTI- A slight weakness in the upper atmosphere and a weak surface cold front in central Texas will result in a few thundershowers developing here overnight and early Tuesday morning. This is not a big rain event due to the "isolated" nature of the activity but here in town we have now gone nearly 28 days with only .25" of rain. The upper level dry high will build back over the region Tuesday afternoon thru early next week. Stifling heat with increasing winds will prevail thru the weekend.
Tonight expect only widely scattered thundershowers with more west, decreasing winds still seasonal with a low of 76.
Tuesday we will have an isolated shower in the morning otherwise noticeably less wind still humid and hotter and under mostly sunny skies we will have a high of 94.
Tuesday night we will have fair skies light winds and not quite as warm with a low of 73.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a gentle breeze humid and hotter with a high of 96.
The heat index (feel like temperature) will reach between 100 and 105 each afternoon.
