CORPUS CHRISTI - At the U.S.S. Lexington, things are getting pretty spooky as people line up for the Haunting On The Blue Ghost. We sent Mitch Bryan to follow some brave young boys into the heart of terror.

Meet 8 year old Ian and 10 year old Jay.

"We're going to go get those monsters," the two boys cheered.

These two tough hombres were talking a pretty good game while in line for the Lexington's Haunted House. It takes visitors through two decks newly open to the public.

But as they descended into the tight hallways, and around the dark corners, their tough-guy act, started to crumble.

"Please don't slam the door anymore," Jay screamed, covering his eyes.

And with that, they turned around and ran the way they came in. Leaving me and one of our editors, Bailey Williams to finish this, on our own.

In the end we made it out alive, but our intrepid adventurers were nowhere to be found.

So I sent a staff worker to go and find them and sure enough they came back, with their tails between their legs.

"You guys were so pumped up, you guys were so tough at the beginning," I said.

"Well, we thought it was as small as an ant," Jay sputtered.

"We thought it weren't going to be that scary. Until we went in there. After like a minute or so, we were like, this is not how we imagined," Ian added.

"Is it worth one more chance? To try and finish it off," I asked them.

They responded, "No way! No!"

So it was the walk of shame for these two, but if you think you can brave it, go ahead, give it a try.

If you want to check it out for yourself, you can buy the tickets at the gate for $15 a piece, and a dollar of that will go towards the Wounded Warrior Project. The haunted tour will continue through the month of October. For more info visit haunting on the blueghost.com.
