CORPUS CHRISTI- Upper level high pressure is still firmly entrenched over the area preventing needed rainfall but protecting us from tropical activity as well. Surface low pressure to the north has moved on so less wind expected over the next several days resulting in lower lows and hotter daytime highs.
The tropics are quiet.
Wednesday and Thursday expect hazy but sunny skies noticeably less wind humid and hotter with a high Wednesday of 97 and 98 Thursday and a heat index between 106 and 112!
Tonight (Wednesday night) will be mainly clear and nearly calm and a more seasonal low of 77.
