CORPUS CHRISTI - Lots of wind all over the Coastal Bend this afternoon with plenty of cloud coverage and still very warm temperatures. Despite the clouds, we made it into the lower 90's for most locations. The winds are expected to begin settling down late tonight and early Sunday morning to 10-15mph with the clouds sticking around.
Tonight, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies and an overnight low in the mid to lower 70's feeling very muggy and sticky.
Sunday calls for another cloudy day as temperatures should reach the 90's degree mark once again. A weak front will begin to move towards the Coastal Bend in the late evening hours and into early Monday morning that will set off a few isolated to scattered showers for the area. At this time, nothing severe is expected, but the chances increase the further into the afternoon and evening we get. As the front sweeps the area, then rain chances will begin to fall by Monday afternoon with only cloud cover lingering.
Have an excellent Sunday!
