CORPUS CHRISTI- A dry northerly at the surface and aloft will continue to produce very dry conditions here along with seasonally hot daytime highs and at or near cool record lows thru the end of this week and into the weekend. Very light winds will coincide with this temperature pattern as well. The winds slowly increase off the gulf beginning on Sunday and this will modify our lows and cause a dramatic increase in our humidity (so not near as comfortable.) This will ultimately lead to the opportunity for desperately needed rainfall that will return to the area around the end of next week. Mostly likely the remnant moisture from Nate going inland well south of us in Mexico will produce the rain.

Friday is another Ozone Action Day.

Tonight will be clear calm and record coolness with a low of 64.

Friday and Saturday we will have very light winds sunny skies very low humidity with a high tomorrow of 94 and 95 Saturday.

Nate bears watching in the southern GUlf and strengthening now 120 miles west of Campeche Mexico. There is a lot of uncertainty of where Nate will go next week. It is still expected to be in the western Gulf well to our south as a hurricane Tuesday of next week. Stay tuned.
