CORPUS CHRISTI -- Two people were sent to the hospital after an overnight car accident.
The crash happened at the intersection of Saratoga and Airline shortly after midnight.
Police said a woman driving a dark-colored Suburban was speeding down Saratoga when she rearended a Black BMW sedan.
The impact pushed the car into the middle of the intersection, and somehow, the Suburban passed the car and almost hit a light pole on the other side of the intersection.
Police took a passenger of the BMW and the driver of the Suburban to the hospital.
Once the driver has been released, she will be taken into custody on suspicion of DWI.
