CORPUS CHRISTI -- Traffic engineers say there's about $50,000 in damage left behind by an oversized truck that took out a traffic signal at Wood River and 624 in Calallen Saturday.
Crews had to clean up the mess and place temporary stop signs out there for the time being.
But the busy area needs the lights replaced quickly, so the city is now drafting an emergency contract.
They will then seek reimbursement from the company who's truck caused the damage.
