CORPUS CHRISTI - For now, a water restriction has not been put into effect here in Corpus Christi.
That after City Water officials report that lake levels in Mathis are holding at 40.0%.
Based on evaporation levels today and tonight, that level could go up or down.
If the lake level reaches 39.9%, the city could be placed in an immediate water restriction.
We will keep you up to date on water levels at Lake Corpus Christi as they change.
