Lake Corpus Christi Fire Forces Evacuations

LAKE CORPUS CHRISTI- Two houses and one car were destroyed, and 200 acres burned during a Christmas day fire at Lake Corpus Christi near Swinney Switch.

The fire broke out yesterday afternoon, and continued to burn last night.

Ninety people were forced to evacuate during the fire.

The main fire is now out, and many of those who were evacuated have been allowed to return to their homes.
