KRIS Communications Kicks off 'Season of Hope'

CORPUS CHRISTI - KRIS Communications is kicking off the Season of Hope, a campaign to collect food and toys for local families in need.

Over the next three months we will collect food and toys to be given out to local families in need this holiday season. We've partnered up with the Food Bank of Corpus Christi, Toys for Tots, the Womens' Shelter of South Texas and numerous local businesses.

Last year, we collected 35,000 toys for children in the Coastal bend, and literally collected tons of food, that was used to feed the estimated 19,000 people who depend on the Food Bank every week.

Today on 6 News at Six, our Jennifer Lira will be live at the Esplanade Rehab Hospital with details.
