CORPUS CHRISTI - KRIS management has once again filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission. As most of you know, on December 13th Time Warner dropped KRIS, KAJA, CW and KDF even though they had consent to carry our signals in the midst of retransmission negotiations.
Its been more than two weeks since our last proposal to Time Warner and we still have not received a counter offer.
On January 13th KRIS Communications first filed a complaint with the FCC because we believe they are not negotiating in good faith. Time Warner has not responded to the complaint.
This week, KRIS management filed a supplemental complaint with the FCC because it has been more than 2 weeks since our last proposal was sent to Time Warner and we still have not received a response.
It remains unlikely that there will be an agreement in time for the February 5th, the date of Super Bowl XVLI, which will be broadcast on KRIS-NBC.
Time Warner Cable customers will not be able to see the game on Time Warner Cable television if a deal is not reached.
Anyone can watch KRIS, KAJA, CW, KDF over the air with a VHF antenna.
