Kingsville Police Seize 43 Kilos of Cocaine

KINGSVILLE - Kingsville Chief of Police Ricardo Torres says his department seized 43 kilos of cocaine worth $4.8 million during a traffic stop Saturday morning.

An officer pulled over a car hauler tractor-trailer heading northbound on Highway 77 before dawn on Saturday. A K-9 officer assisted in a search of the truck and found the cocaine. The driver is a 34-year-old man from Brownsville.
