KINGSVILLE - Investigators with the Kingsville Police Department say officers acting on tips about suspected drug dealing inside a local bar arrested the owner of the Corner Depot Friday evening.

According to police, 62-year-old Delma Wilhem consented to a search of her bar on the 1200 block of 6th Street, which allowed officers to locate 24 baggies of cocaine, about 9 grams, prepped for sale. Police say the drugs were found behind the bar and in Wilhelm's possession.

Officers also searched a customer who appeared nervous as they looked around. 41-year-old Andres Garza was found to have one bag of cocaine with him, according to police.

Garza's charged with possession of a controlled substance. Wilhelm is facing a more serious charge of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.
