VICTORIA - Players on the King High School football team will wear the number 66 tonight during their game to honor Cameron Espinosa. He's the Haas Middle School football player who passed away earlier this week.
The players will wear the special decals near the back of their helmets when they head to Victoria tonight to play Victoria East High School.
Some of these players have played with Espinosa in the past.
Spencer Manuel is the team's quarterback, and says it's all about remembering a friend and fellow football player.
"He was all about football. That's all he was. He was coming to be a King Mustang. He just lived football, so it's big to have the stickers on our helmets supporting him, because that's where he would have been next year, was here," Manuel says.
The game starts tonight at 7:30 in Victoria.
