Kids Hurt When Car Run off the Road

CORPUS CHRISTI - Three kids went to the hospital Monday night with serious cuts to their heads and bodies after police say a car was run off the road and into a tree.

This all happened on Glazebrook behind Ray High School. According to police, Lionel Torres, the ex-boyfriend of a woman in the car, forced it off the road.

Paramedics took care of the injured woman and the three kids who were not buckled up.

In the meantime, police started searching for the men involved. The ex-boyfriend, Lionel Torres, was tracked down to a home on 17th street.

Police say the other man is the woman's new boyfriend. Police say he likely took off running because he has outstanding warrants.
