Kid Crashes into Building

COLORADO - It was a scary moment for people inside a Colorado DMV office on Monday. An SUV came crashing through the front of the building with a child in the driver's seat.

Nobody was hurt but the building is damaged. Police said a woman had gotten out of the car and left two children inside while she was in the office.

One worker described what happened.

Natrice Bryant said, "(there was) a loud bang and then all of a sudden (we) saw the car, vehicle inside the building. It came all the way up to right in front of the counter. So the chairs that have been moved were moved because of the vehicle, it came probably a couple of feet from the front of the counter."

The 10-year-old behind the wheel has been cited for careless driving.
