Judge Grants Stay in Annaville Fence Fight

CORPUS CHRISTI - Yesterday, we told you about some Annaville residents who want their neighbor's 12-foot high patchwork barbed wire fence down.

Today, the owner was supposed to appear in Municipal Court, but she didn't show. We're told Herlinda Nunez was unable to appear before a judge due to medical reasons.

So, the judge field another continuance in her case.

City Code Enforcement officials said her fence, on Eastwood Drive, violates the city's code. The fence tops fifteen feet in some areas and is laden with barbed wire.
