Jogger Bites Man Who Grabbed Her

CORPUS CHRISTI - A woman told police she was attacked by a man who tried to sexually assault her Monday night as she was jogging on the southside of town.

She says a man grabbed her from behind and covered her mouth when he came after her on the 6800 block of Meadowbreeze Parkway. That's near Holly and Rodd Field Road. The attack happened a little after 8:30 in the evening.

The good news is she was able to bite his right forearm and run away without being injured.

The attacker is described as 5'8" tall, about 160 pounds, and likely 18 years old or so. He had a light brown or tanned skin and was wearing an Aggies shirt with cutoff sleeves.
