ALICE, TX-The Jim Wells County Sheriff's Department is rounding up more than criminals over the next couple of weeks. Officers are collecting toys, for local kids, for Christmas.
According to Captain Tomas Torres students from Alice High School, Ben Bolt High School, Premont High School and Orange Grove High School will be helping.
"There's a lot of student that would love to volunteer to show their support for their communities," said Torres.
Torres goes on to say all of the toys gathered will distributed in Jim Wells County, to help families that are struggling at this time of year.
You can drop off toys at the Wal-Mart in Alice Sunday, December 2nd from 9am to 3pm or on Friday, December 7th from Noon to 6pm.
