KINGSVILLE, Texas - The Texas A&M-Kingsville men's basketball team heads to San Angelo for a road conference game against Angelo State on Wednesday night looking to extend its three-game winning streak.
The Javelinas moved to 4-2 in the Lone Star Conference with their third-straight win and are now 8-5 on the season. The Rams are 4-10 overall while 1-5 in the LSC.
Kingsville is coming off a thrilling overtime win at home versus West Texas A&M in which Dytrel Bracey hit a three-point basket with under five second to go for a 64-61 win. The game almost didn't go to OT as West Texas appeared to have scored at the end of regulation but the shot was waved off.

Defensively, the Javelinas continue to be ranked in the top 10 in the Division statistical rankings in multiple categories. The team is third in defensive field goal percentage (37.2%). The team is eighth in points allowed (59.3 ppg) and defending the three holding teams to 27.8%.
The Javelinas return home to face Abilene Christian on Saturday at 3 p.m. on Kingsville Hampton Inn Court.
