You can catch Jason reporting on sports weekdays and anchoring on the weekends.
An athlete his entire life, Jason comes to the KRIS Communications team with nearly a decade experience in sports journalism. He's spent time with multiple award-winning sports department WCMH in Columbus, OH and most recently was the sports director and AP award-winner at KVEO in Brownsville, TX.
A graduate of Ohio University's Scripps School of Journalism, Jason worked at the local WOUB station where he was a reporter on the Emmy Award-winning half-hour football program, Gridiron Glory, and was sports director his final year in Athens, OH.
Further experience includes; a panel member of a nationally broadcast radio program, SportsBeat, that welcomed guests such as Peter King (NBC/Sports Illustrated) and George Smith (ESPN), play-by-play and color commentary for college basketball and the MAC Tournament, and extensive live feeds from the GMAC Bowl Game.
In addition, Jason had the privilege to cover NBA Training Camps, Major Conference College Football, Olympic Training and more.
Jason's family, his wife and three dogs, are proud to now call Corpus Christi home.
In his free time, Jason spends as much time as possible with his loved ones. While trying to keep a well-rounded life, Jason has a musical background in addition to playing volleyball in college.
You can hear the Leading Tones, the A Cappella group Jason co-founded, on Ben Folds album 'Ben Folds Presents: University A Cappella'.
