It's Official, Calallen's Danaher Set for Texas High School Football Hall of Fame

WACO - On May 4th Calallen standout Wes Danaher will officially be inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2013.
The Hall of Fame currently has 283 members. Of those 283, only 8 are from the Coastal Bend. Charlie Haas (CC High - 1933-35); Marty Akins (GP - 1969-71); Ronnie Bull (Bishop - 1955-57); Ray Akins; James Lott (Refugio - 1980-83); Willie Mack Garza (Refugio - 1985-87); Emil Tagliabue - sportswriter; Johnny Roland (Miller - 1958-60).
While at Calallen Wes earned First Team All-State twice (1994 & 1995), he was the AP Class 4A Player of the Year in 1995, and he rushed for 3,562 yards in 1995.
