Islander Can Drive At Tonight's Game

CORPUS CHRISTI - The Texas A&M University of Corpus Christi Men's Basketball team has "teamed up" with their Student Government Association to collect as many canned food items as possible. Tonight the Islanders matchup against Rice University at 7:00 at the American Bank Center. They hope, in addition to improving their record to 4-2, for a lot of fans and a lot of cans.

To help the drive, they have offered an incentive for those in attendance. Bring two non-perishable food items to tonight's game and get a "buy one, get one free" deal on your ticket price. At last check, SGA had just under 500 cans and is hoping for a large push at tonight's game.
