Ingrid wind speed strengthened to 75mph Saturday afternoon making it the second hurricane this season.
Hurricane Ingrid is slowly moving north and then is expected to turn west toward Tampico, Mexico Sunday. Ingrid is forecast to come ashore early Monday near Tampico.
Most in the Coastal Bend will get 3-5 inches of rain Sunday through Thursday.
There is a Coastal Flood Advisory in effect now to Noon on Tuesday. Gulf water will cover Padre and Mustang Island beaches up to the dunes at high tides through Tuesday morning.
Also some beach and maybe street flooding Corpus Christi Beach also. Water expected to be 2 -2/12 feet above normal at high tides. Next high tides are 2:23AM Sunday and 2:49AM Monday.
Moderate wind here Sunday and Monday out of the east 10-20 mph.
