Ingleside Police Say Domestic Violence Suspected in Woman's Murder

Suspected Domestic Violence Murder in Ingleside

INGLESIDE - Investigators in Ingleside have detained a man believed to be involved in a woman's murder this morning.

Someone called 911, from the 2100 block of Breezeway Circle, to report a woman lying face down on a sidewalk, leading up to an apartment, just after 7 am.

Police say they found a trail of blood from the body to an apartment where the woman apparently lived.

According to a news release, the man who answered the door was covered in blood.

Police say the murder is a case of domestic violence and formal charges will be filed Wednesday afternoon.

The identity of the victim and the suspect have not been released.
