SAN ANTONIO - Investigators are trying to identify the body of a woman found in the San Antonio River.
Authorities say an autopsy was expected Monday on the body first noticed by some people visiting a park. San Antonio firefighters late Sunday afternoon retrieved the body, which apparently was in the water for several days.
Police Detective Ricky Lopez says the woman appears to have been in her 20s and probably was married. Lopez declined to further describe the woman.
