IBC Bank Inside Rockport Walmart Robbed

ROCKPORT - Police temporarily blocked off access to the Walmart in Rockport after the IBC Bank inside the store was robbed more than an hour ago. Officers called for help from a DPS helicopter to help search for the suspect.

As a result, school right across the street are on lockdown. It's not clear how many students or staff are still on campus this late in the day.

We have a crew headed that way and will bring you more information as it becomes available.
