IBC Bank Branch Robbed

CORPUS CHRISTI - A man wearing a white mask and a black hoodie walked into the IBC bank branch on South Staples demanding money this afternoon.

Employees told police the man claimed he had a weapon, but he never showed one. He was given some cash by a teller then drove into the the Country Club Estates neighborhood.

Police found some clothing on one street and detained a man nearby. So far, there's no confirmation on whether that man is now facing charges for the robbery.

The bank robber was described as a man in his 20's with a medium brown complexion, about 5'8" tall and weighing roughly 180 pounds.
