CORPUS CHRISTI - The man accused of shooting his wife in the neck was ordered to stay away from her and her two daughters as he awaits trial.
Adam Bautista, 41, faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police say they showed up at their Mary Street home early Wednesday morning just 43 seconds after getting a 911 call about a shooting.
According to police, Bautista was seen running out the front door with a gun in his hand.
His wife survived the shooting. Neighbors say she and Adam had a rocky relationship. Her two daughters are staying with family.
